About Amy

To support others in finding ease in their breath, bodies, and minds. To meet the individual where they are, at any point in life, and offer them yogic tools for daily living. This creates the foundation for healing and remembrance of their innate wholeness
— My Why & Mission Statement

I am a Certified Yoga Therapist who specializes in anxiety, depression with a trauma-informed approach, grief, back pain, chronic pain & more. Yoga Therapy is a therapeutic, individualized variation to the practice. This approach to Yoga takes into account our unique situations and invites the practice to be molded to suit us, rather than us to suit the practice. It is my passion and privilege to have worked with many individuals over the past 7 years and to watch the impact Yoga has on their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Find out more about Yoga Therapy here.

With great respect and honor, I hold space for the person in front of me with an approach based in: intuition, empathy, and research and information gathering in order to better understand their limitations and needs. Together we co-create a practice that meets them where they are at and helps bring them to where they want to go. A Yoga Therapy session typically involves a combination of: meditation, mindfulness, relaxation, mudras, breath work, and asana (Yoga postures).

Over a decade long practice of Yoga has helped soothe and heal personal anxiety and physical discomfort. It has shifted as I went through periods of intense grief, becoming a mother, despair AND joy. Being a Yoga Therapist has bridged my passion for Yoga and purposeful desire to help others the way it has for me. It is my purpose in this life.
